Every home is a book of shingle courses, one laid over the next. Here are the main courses we install, repair, and document for the roofs across the Wasatch Front.
Course 1
Roof Inspections That Read the Whole Structure
A good inspection starts at the ridge and works every slope down to the fascia. We photograph each course, check the deck with moisture testing, look for lifted nails and cracked tabs, verify the underlayment seal, and trace the flashing at valleys and walls. You receive a clear report in plain language with photos, so you see exactly what the roof needs and what it does not. For most homes we can also coordinate with your insurance adjuster so the inspection file becomes the foundation of a claim.

Course 2
Storm Damage Inspections Along the Hail Line
When hail or high wind rolls through the Wasatch Front, roofs across the valley get tested at once. We drive the same damage patterns every storm season: hail bruising across west and south faces, wind-lifted shingles peeling at the leading edges, and granule loss that shows up as pale, fuzzy spots on the field. We inspect fast with a written storm folder, photograph every probable hit, and separate authentic storm damage from ordinary wear.

Course 3
Asphalt Shingle Repair and Full Replacement
From a single torn tab to a complete re-roof, asphalt shingle is our daily craft. When a roof is beyond spot repair, we strip the old field to the deck, replace rotten sheathing with matching plywood, lay a clean ice and water shield along the low edges and valleys, and rack new architectural shingles with straight courses and neat, secured starter lines at the eaves. The result is a field that drains, seals, and lasts for decades.

Course 4
Metal Panel and Flashing Work
Where water hides and wind tugs, metal wins. We install standing seam and screw-down metal panels for the slopes that need the most endurance, and we cut and fit every flashing valley, step, ridge cap, and pipe boot by hand. Replacements and repairs of flashings are the most common fix we make, because a failing flashing seam is rarely visible from the street but almost always shows up as that slow stain on the ceiling. We tame it at the source.

Course 5
Gutter and Downspout Systems
Water that leaves the roof still needs a safe path to the ground. We hang new seamless gutters sized to each roofline, re-slope sagging runs, seal leaking joints, and route downspouts away from the foundation with solid extensions. By keeping water moving past the walls and out of the crawl, gutters protect the part of your home no one sees until it is too late.

Course 6
Ventilation Systems and Ice-Shield Upgrades
An under-vented attic can cook a roof from underneath in summer and ice the eaves in winter. We balance intake at the soffits with matched ridge and static exhaust, and we lay ice and water shield membrane along the eaves and valleys where ice dams form. Ventilating and shielding your roof is the cheapest insurance there is against premature failure, mold, and frost line damage.
